Bold Approach: Jewish British Students Flash Yellow Bellies

E-mail Print PDF
09/15/11 In an truly mind-boggling display of pusillanimity, the British Jewish Students Union has decided to chuck hasbara, throw in the towel, and paint yellow bellies on their mid sections.  No, not the last part, but the other two are direct quotes.  The campaigns director of the Union of Jewish Students bizarrely referred to as a "bold approach," is the distribution to Jewish students of both Israeli and Palestinian flags, and calling for them to pledge their support for "two states for two people" and freedom and justice for all.  Wow.  And the likely response of the Union of Palestinian Students?

Their obsequiousness to the anti-Israel mob is sickening.

If they think they can curry favour with the Israel haters with this obnoxious genuflection they are wrong.

What next - giving out keffiya's and matches to burn the Israeli flag?

Fortunately there are alternatives now for British Jewish students - UJS no longer has a monopoly - they should join StandWithus and BIC (Britain Israel Coalition).
  • Bill Levinson  - Explains Patton's disgust at Jews
General Patton expressed distaste for "displaced persons" (Jews) in a liberated concentration camp. I don't think this was because they were Jews but because he had zero respect for any man who wouldn't fight. He assumed the Jews were in the camps because they didn't fight, as was largely the case with few exceptions like the Warsaw Ghetto.

When I look at these specimens in the UK, I can see exactly what Patton meant. And I am speaking as a person of Jewish identity. If these Jews in the UK have so little respect for themselves (and common decency), how can they expect respect from anybody else?
